WCBB hosts sensory-friendly experience

I love women’s college basketball season. While I bleed orange for my Tennessee Lady Vols, I cannot not like University of Washington after reading this. How great that the team would host a game for people of all ages with sensory challenges, even giving out a sample “communication board” like you would see on an AAC device. Imagine if every major sport did this? Most of us take for granted the ability to go to a sporting event. But for so many, this is an unthinkable event…until now. Thank you to UW for hosting this event, and here is hoping that other teams will follow. (Article shared with permission from author, Howard Megdal.)
